New Webster’s Dictionary defines a “monitor” as “anything that reminds or cautions.” That definition very much speaks to the primary purpose of Michaelsen Ministries: To remind God’s people of the absolute sufficiency of the inerrant Word of God and to caution those who would base their theology on feelings, opinions, imaginations or experiences, rather than on sound doctrine (2 Timothy 3:16- 4:4).
We will periodically alert you to some of the key issues relating to Biblical prophecy, Israel, current events and trends, matters affecting the Church, etc., that we’ve been “keeping tabs on.” Sometimes it will be through articles we write. Generally, it will be through links to insightful and relevant articles written by others, both Christian and secular. All of it will be offered with the prayer that you, our Beloved Friends, will be as the Sons of Issachar, godly men and women who understand the times (1 Chronicles 12:32). We are all of us called to be as the noble Bereans, who were unafraid to search the Scriptures and challenge even the Apostle Paul himself when it came to matters of sound doctrine and protecting the flock (Acts 17:10-11).
We will also, of course, be updating you on our activities and ministry opportunities as they present themselves.
