Going forward

Screen Shot 2015-09-11 at 10.46.21 AMIt’s strange to hear myself say “Michaelsen Ministries” as though Johanna and I were just starting something new. After all I’m 80 and she’s 60…something!

We both have attended seminary and have functioned in ministry as a team for almost forty years.

Johanna’s gifting and calling have enabled her to communicate through her two best selling books and countless interviews and lectures to the Church, on a worldwide basis, on the subject of spiritual discernment.

The occult explosion, especially over the past 25 years, has greatly influenced the Christian Church. The increase of false prophets, false teachers and deception in the Church has multiplied the number of persons who are seeking guidance for themselves, their families, and their churches. Due to the internet and social media, Johanna is now receiving hundreds of e-mails and requests that she is finding increasingly difficult to answer one at a time.

To facilitate meeting the increased requests for ministry and the need for information, we must now rely on a broader team effort to fund, organize and manage the ministry.

Over the last 38 years we have, for the most part, covered the expense for Johanna’s ministry out of my salary as an engineer or pastor. However, on December 22, 2014, I was laid off from my staff position at Kings Harbor Church. This has left us unable to maintain our home or our ministry effort on our Social Security income.

Still, the Lord is faithful and He is once again proving to us that He works all things together for good! In June 2015 we launched Michaelsen Ministries, which is a tax exempt 501(c) 3 organization. It was started at the encouragement of a small group of Christians who are aware of the spiritual attack on the church and the nature of our ministry. They have sacrificially come alongside us to provide the technical, legal, financial and administrative support necessary to begin a ministry that meets a profound need in these last days and that maintains a high standard of accountability. We are deeply grateful to the Lord and to them!

I have just found your video’s on youtube, and they have made me do a lot of soul searching and repentance. I was wondering, do you ( Joanna ) believe in a pre trib rapture? Thank you Rosemary.
