Caryl Matriciana’s memorial service scheduled for January 14

Randolph and I would like to invite you to remember the life and work of our dear friend Caryl Matrisciana, who went to be with the Lord three weeks ago after a long struggle with cancer. As many of you know, we had hoped that Caryl would be able to lead our trip to Israel we had planned a year ago, but that was not to be. Randolph and I were able to Skype with her from Israel, and I knew then that her suffering would soon come to an end.

Caryl and I go back many years, and I treasure our friendship. I am also thankful to have been a part of Caryl’s Wide Is The Gate DVD series, as well as other projects.

Our friend Pastor Chris Quintana, who also appears on that series, recently shared this about Caryl:

I know many have followed the progress of her battle with cancer and you also know she wanted very much to continue the work God had her doing all of these years. She lost her battle here on earth but her heavenly reward far outweighs anything here in this world. We know His ways are not our ways. (Isaiah 55:8) We know your prayer and support was greatly appreciated by Caryl.

Her work here is a legacy of research, defense of the faith and equipping the body with vital and broad ranging topics. Only now, having seen Jesus face to face, can she fully know the reach her work has covered and the countless lives which have touched and made better by the knowledge they took from her work.

Chris will lead the memorial service on Saturday January 14th, 2017 at 12 noon Pacific Time, at Calvary Chapel of Cypress.  The two questions you are probably asking is, will there be a live stream online, and will the service be recorded? The answer is YES to both questions. You can stream the service via the CC Cypress website by clicking the Watch Live banner. That is also where the recorded service will be posted in the future.

Thank you for this beautiful tribute. I’ve entered 2017 very sad at the loss of these precious saints. They have taught us so much in the last several years. We were so excited to have Ray Visit us the first year he started speaking. At the time, I was ignorant of deception and now .(thanks to God using these two) I seem to notice it everywhere…. it’s really bad lately among women ministries. Thank you for your ministry, too. I read your book many years ago and it prepared me for what I was to learn and share later in life. God bless you, Johanna

Oh Joanna, I’m sorry for your loss of a good friend, and fellow minister. I didn’t even know Caryl was sick; I’m SO sad she’s gone! Such a jumble of bittersweet emotions. My heart breaks for her family, it is so hard to see the one you love suffer and waist away, but a joy to see them grow stronger in their faith, I know because I’ve been there. You’re sad of your loss, but rejoice that your loved one is home with Jesus and free of pain. I’m so grateful to God for her courage and vital ministry in bringing the truth about spiritual deception in the Church, to the Church, and any soul willing to hear and accept it! May the Lord Jesus strengthen you and your husband to keep up the good work Johanna! ?

Although it’s sadden’s me to here the this great lady died in fact I just heard it listening to Jan Markell) is home with the Lord so it’s more of a joy that it is a sadness and she’s completed the work that God has sent her to do spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all the nations. And furthermore she made the whole world at least as much of it as she could aware of Satan’s devices and strategies and agendas. God bless you Mrs. Matriciana

And furthermore the second that she saw Jesus being overjoyed I’m sure he said to her well done the good and faithful servant enter into the joy of thy Lord
